Book 154 Seance in Sepia by Michelle Black

Séance in Sepia (Five Star Mystery Series)

846 books to go!

Summary:
This story takes place in present day and in 1875. The chapters take place in alternating time periods. The story starts when Flynn Kiernan finds a spirit photograph at an estate sale. She puts the photograph up for auction on eBay. When the auction soars she begins to learn the details of the people in the photograph and of the famous trial in Chicago of 1875 known as the Free Love Murders.

Opinion:
I loved this! This book falls into the category of historical suspense, the story was great I kept wondering what would happen and how the mystery of the death of Medora Lamb and Cameron Langley would eventually be solved. One of the few newly published books worth the read.

Why I chose to read this:
This was another random find on the new book cart at work.
