Book 43 - Under the dome by Stephen King
by Stephen King Under the Dome, A Novel 1 edition
957 books to go!
This novel was a beast to finish, 1072 pages. But it was worth it! This is the second book I've read by Stephen King and I'm looking forward to eventually reading more of his work.
This story is about the small town of Chester's Mill, ME. One day a dome covers the entire town and the residents are stuck inside this dome. They can't get out, and anything the government and army try to do in order to break open the dome and release the residents fails. All sorts of drama and horror takes place as the residents try to figure out why the dome is over the town and what they can do to take it off. There's a lot of death as well and hopelessness. It's also chock full of symbolism.
This novel is a great read, it may take you awhile but it's worth the time put into it.
