This is the second walking dead novel based on the walking dead graphic novels and television series. Woodbury has just started to function as a 25% decent town under the new governor's regime Lily Caul and her group come across Woodbury while traveling away from another tent city that Lily's friend and lover Josh were kicked out of. From the start Lily doesn't like Woodbury and is desparate to get out but Woodbury slowly ends up eating Lily and her group until they're stuck there.
This book was a little sad made me wish Lily and her group never found Woodbury but there would have been no story if they hadn't.
