This book was extremely impressive. It is worth the read for sure. The beginning of the book introduces us to the narrator/main character of the novel little Jack. Little Jack was conceived by rape of his mother's captor who kidnapped her when she was 19. The novel starts off in the sound proof room that the captor keeps his mother and little Jack in, later in the novel little Jack has to adapt to some changes, this book deals with Jack's journey. The writing was excellent Emma Donoghue lets the reader into Jack's thoughts and does a wonderful job.
