I read this book when I was a kid, I had some nostalgia so I had to re read it . Amy finds herself at her grand parent's old house to visit her Aunt Clare after an argument with her family over the care of her mentally handicapped sister LouAnn. Aunt Clare suggests that Amy stay with her for a few weeks, after discovering a dollhouse in the attic that's a replica of her grand parent's house Amy begs her parents to stay with Aunt Clare. Soon Amy discovers that the dolls inside the house are moving and she has a mystery to solve.
