Professor Adrian Thomas, who is recently diagnosed with a form of dementia, witnesses the kidnapping of a young teenager named Jennifer. Adrian isn't really sure what he saw, but he is persuaded by hallucinations of his dead loved ones to help find Jennifer. Meanwhile Jennifer is suffering at the hands of a murderous couple who pick victims to torture and kill, while broadcasting the kill and torture over the internet to paid viewers.
