Book 285 Weegee's people by Weegee

Weegee's People

715 books to go!

Weegee is a photographer that has sparked my interest. He wrote two books this one and Naked City. Mainly this book features a short introduction by Weegee along with many portraits. Some of his infrared shots makes his subjects look like demons, I've concluded from this book that he was minorly obsessed with shoes or feet. Weegee's writing is terrible but his photography is pretty damn interesting.

Book 284 Me of Little Faith by Lewis Black

Me of Little Faith

716 books to go!

I love Lewis Black's cynical, semi-angry humor. In this book he takes you on a written comedic tour of almost every religion possible. It's pretty hysterical, if you like humor it's worth reading. I wouldn't read this if you are a very religious person you probably would not like it.

Book 283 Photojournalism: 150 years of outstanding press photography by Reuel Golden

Photojournalism: 150 Years of Outstanding Press Photography

717 books to go!

This book provides a brief biography of notable photojournalists along with a few samples of their work. It's a bit dry to get through but there are some interesting photographs to see.

Book 282 The Sartorialist Closer by Scott Schuman

The Sartorialist: Closer

718 books to go!

This is Scott Schuman's second book. He also blogs online. He's a street photographer and he's always after snapping a person's personal style. Whether the person is in designer duds or a $5 lab coat, if they are rockin' it he's snappin' it. I hope one day this man spots me and likes what I'm wearing enough to take a photo but I'm not sure he would dig my style. These books are easy reads there is barely any text and just tons of street photographs. Definitely worth browsing if you are into clothes or fashion.
